What is AGLC's Central Self-Exclusion?

2 min. readlast update: 07.13.2026

The Centralized Self-Exclusion Program (CSE) is a voluntary commitment that allows you to take a break from all Alberta iGaming platforms and/or land-based casinos and racing centers.

The CSE is available to those 18 or older. A player account is not required. Enrolling in the CSE is separate from any self-exclusion you may have arranged directly with Betty.

For full information on how the Program works, the available resources and guidance on how to get started on your Self-Exclusion sign up, please visit https://selfexclusion.ca/.

🛡️ HOW AGLC's CENTRALISED SELF-EXCLUSION WORKS

Once you're registered with AGLC's CSE, you'll be excluded from all regulated iGaming platforms and/or land-based casinos and racing centers in Alberta for the duration you select, including Betty.

⏱️ HOW LONG YOUR CENTRALISED SELF-EXCLUSION LASTS

When registering, you can choose one of the following options:

  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 2 years
  • 3 years

The signed Self-exclusion agreement lasts for the length time agreed to and cannot be cancelled or changed.
