Giving location permissions depends on the device and app you're using. Here's how to do it for the most common setups:

📱 On a Phone or Tablet

🤖 Android:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Go to Apps or Apps & notifications.

  3. Find and tap the app (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Betty app).

  4. Tap Permissions.

  5. Tap Location.

  6. Choose:

    • Allow all the time

    • Allow only while using the app

    • Ask every time

Or for browsers:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security -> Site Settings -> Location -> Allow Access

  • Turn on location access.

  • Or, in the browser (e.g., Chrome), you can also go to the Betty.ca → Tap the "Level Sliders" on the left in the address bar → Location → Toggle it On

🍏 Apple (iOS):

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Scroll down to Privacy and Security

  3. Tap Location Services and ensure they are toggled on

  4. While still in there, find your browser (Chrome, Safari, etc) , or the Betty app and tap it
  5. Allow Location Accesss by choosing:
    • Ask Next Time Or When I Share

    • While Using App

    • Always

6. Toggle on Precise Location within there as well

💻 On a Computer

🟦 Chrome (Windows/Mac):

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Go to the Betty.ca

  3. Click the lock icon 🔒 , or "Level Sliders" next to the URL.

  4. Go to Site Settings.

  5. Find Location, set it to Allow or toggle it on

Or go to:

  • Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Location

  • Add or allow sites manually. Ensure it is allowed for Betty.ca

🍏 Safari (Mac):

  1. Go to Safari > Settings for This Website (right-click the address bar or click "Safari" in the menu bar).

  2. Next to Location, choose:

    • Ask or Allow

❗Tips:

  • Betty requires precise location access to ensure you are within the regulated area (Ontario).

  • You may need to enable Location Services globally first (in the main settings menu).

  • If you're on a VPN, location services might not work properly.
