To help it go through quickly and seamlessly:

Use your full legal name as shown on your ID (no initials/shortforms)

Enter your correct date of birth (month/date/year)
This makes it more likely your account is verified instantly.
📎 What Happens If Auto-Verification Fails?
No worries! You’ll be prompted to verify manually. Just follow these steps:

Click “Verify Identity” in the top-right corner of your account

Click “Start Verification”

Upload:
-
A valid photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Identity Card)
-
A selfie
-
💡TIP: Make sure the ID + selfie are taken in bright, clear lighting
🚫 Health cards are not accepted as valid ID.
✉️ Need to Verify by Email?
You can also verify manually by sending your documents to welcome@betty.ca.
Please include:

A valid government-issued photo ID

Proof of address (like a recent utility bill or bank statement)
💡TIP: Ensure all 4 corners of each document are visible, clear, and are unfolded. For proof of address, they must be issued within the past 3 months, and have a unique account identifer tied to you.
